After some time away, the Baltimore-bred dance-rapper Spank Rock returned earlier this spring with the pounding “Gully,” his first single in three years. He’s got a new video for the song, even though I don’t think he appears in it. Instead, director Sean Maung has collected a sequence of vaguely seedy New York street scenes, enlisting peep shows and pit bulls and a guy who’s happy to snort lines of blow in his kitchen on camera.
