The magnetic Atlanta rap weirdo Young Thug has a bunch of projects in the works, and one of them is Nerds, a full-length team-up with C4, the producer who put together his bizarre and disorienting track “OMG.” (It already, as you will see above, has amazing cover art.) For their track “I Got It,” Thug and C4 enlisted the services of one Rich Homie Quan, another important player in Atlanta’s currently thriving underground-rap youth movement, and his gritty Auto-Tuned sing-rap delivery meshes nicely with Thug’s pitched-up yelps. As with everything Thug does, Nerds will simply show up when it shows up.
