A few weeks ago we named Jessie Ware’s “Tough Love” our favorite song of the week, praising Ware for “once again underplaying her hand, quietly emoting about the times what we want and what we need aren’t the same thing, selling some serious deep-seated things without ever selling them.” Cyril Hahn’s remix of the song went online this afternoon, and it switches out BenZel’s original synthetic retro soul for a flickering club mix that’s more uptempo but no less sweltering.
