Saint Pepsi

Earlier this year, sunny dance producer Saint Pepsi released his Gin City EP, which felt like a step forward from the early recordings that earned him Band To Watch honors. Now, following his recent signing to Carpark, he’s issued a new single that makes good on the EP’s promise. “Fiona Coyne” (named after a character from Degrassi) finds Ryan DeRobertis stepping up to give a vocal performance more direct than anything he’s done under the Saint Pepsi moniker. It hearkens back to his early bedroom project Cold Napoleons, albeit with the sunniness that has always been a part of Saint Pepsi’s sound, and it’s just a big, bright blast of good vibes. If this is the next stage of this constantly surprising project, then I’m on board. Listen below.

“Fiona Coyne” will be released as a single on 8/12 via Carpark.
