No More cover

The Chicago R&B singer Jeremih and the L.A. bass music producer Shlohmo first teamed up on last year’s “Bo Peep (Do You Right)” as part of Yours Truly’s Songs From Scratch series. They turned out to be a perfect match; “Bo Peep” was a warmer, more inviting alternative to the Weeknd’s chillingly nihilistic future-R&B. The partnership was so obviously worth pursuing that Jeremih and Shlohmo got together to record a bunch more songs, one of which, “No More,” hit the internet back in February. “No More” was even more exceptional than what came before. So the news that it was part of a forthcoming EP was met with rapturous anticipation around these parts.

That anticipation is over now, just in time for Jeremih’s birthday. You can download the No More EP here in exchange for an email address. It features six tracks, including a collaboration with Chance The Rapper. Do it!

No More is out now on We Did It.

  1. Tonight just got hot. OWWWOOOOOOOOO!

  2. My first impression is that I’m kind of disappointed. There’s only three new songs (Fuck You All the Time and Bo Peep are included) and the new songs don’t seem to jump out at me in the same way. But I love these two as collaborators, so I’ll take what I can get.

  3. They need to get together for a proper LP. This is awesome but it seems like just a tease. No More and Bo Peep are still jams though.

  4. This is one of the most anticipated releases for me. It’s my birthday today, so this an absolute treat for me.
