SOPHIE’s “Bipp” was easily my favorite single of 2013. We haven’t heard any new music from the anonymous producer since that song, though he’s been a recurring presence in the music press, thanks to his bizarro SXSW shows, his influence on the exciting PC Music label, and his explosive DJ sets. Now, though, he’s set to release the follow-up to “Bipp”: a 12″ featuring two songs, “Lemonade” and “Hard.” The former is now available online, and it is, once again, one of the best things I’ve heard all year.
