Sia on SoundClash

The entire point of SoundClash the new ?uestlove-produced and Diplo-hosted VH1 show, is to throw a set of disparate artists up onstage and watch what happens. Last week’s episode, for instance, had T.I. sharing a stage with Fall Out Boy and London Grammar. Last night’s episode, meanwhile, had Sia, Ed Sheeran, and Grouplove. The group performances aren’t online yet, but Sia’s solo ones are. She turned all of her songs into grand performance-art spectacles, as she’s done more than once lately. Lip-syncing surrogates! Hidden faces! An entire audience in Sia wigs! Below, watch her performances of “Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart,” and “Big Girls Cry.”

Sia’s album 1000 Forms Of Fear is out now on RCA/Monkey Puzzle.

  1. seriously, isn’t this just the Jools Holland show?

  2. I want Sia to stop now.

  3. I don’t get what your guys problems is really, with the show or with the performances. We don’t want more music on television? Sia put on some relatively interesting performances just because they aren’t mind blowingly genius art performances doesn’t you can’t appreciate them being a little creative and fun to watch.

  4. Please guy, dont be tough! Sia is an artist and music is an art! She can express urself in his music, hair, and every dance step. I love it and i can feel the lyric power with his feelings.
