Most of the time, when you think of releases from R&S Records, you think of their motto: “In Order To Dance.” One of their newest signees, Alma Construct, certainly lives up to that, but the producer gets there with eerie vibes that would fit into a horror movie. That’s how you get the sort of bass thump that sounds right at home on this label, but also a middle section of synths that make me picture the organ-playing Phantom of the Opera let loose in a UK club. It’s a song you can move to, while also being just the slightest bit spooky, which makes it a lot of fun. Listen below.
