FKA twigs on Zane Lowe

The British singer FKA twigs is a few days away from releasing LP1, her shattering debut full-length, and she recently visited the BBC radio host Zane Lowe on the air. Speaking with Lowe, twigs talked a bit about how she dropped out of dance school to become a musician and the connections between music and dance. And Lowe also played three special live-in-studio performances of twigs doing three songs that will appear on the album: The early singles “Two Weeks” and “Pendulum,” and the album track “Give Up.” Listen to her half-hour radio appearance below.

      The BBC site has been ultra dodgy as of late.

      In other news, I’ve never heard FKA’s talky voice before. It’s WOMDERFUL
