Arcade Fire - "Afterlife (Flume Remix)"

Flume is an Australian dance-pop producer and a festival lineup fixture, and now he’s put together a remix of “Afterlife,” the single from Arcade Fire’s Reflektor. Flume’s 10-minute take on the song spends a few minutes swirling before eventually developing into a fleet, nimble house beat. For all the disco undertones on that last Arcade Fire album, it’s still weird to hear someone try to turn them into full-on dance music. Listen to the remix below.

Reflektor is out now on Merge.
