Tennis - Ritual In Repeat

Tennis, the romantically intwined pop-rock duo of Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, are readying the release of third album Ritual In Repeat. Above you’ll find the cover art, revealed today for the first time. Tennis worked with a trio of well-known producers on this album: Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, Jim Eno of Spoon, and Richard Swift of the Shins. “I’m Callin’,” the latest single from Ritual, is a Carney production. It exists in the same breathy space as Haim’s Days Are Gone, where classic rock and radio pop commingle freely into casual grooves and contented sighs. It’s a breezy little track, so listen to it below.

Ritual In Repeat is out 9/9 on Communion. Pre-order it here.

  1. Pleasant enough, but I’m not sure I’m a fan of them jumping on the funk-pop revival band wagon. Also pretty surprised this is one of the Carney produced tracks too. The sound he brought to the last album was one of its best aspects and I’m kinda disappointed it’s not present here.
Really like Origins though, so I won’t make any judgement yet.

  2. awesome track. last song was good too. Think it will do well cause it sounds like Guardians of the Galaxy 70′s disco
