In a couple of weeks, the Glasgow dance producer Rustie will release Green Language, his dizzy, busy, generally overwhelming new album. We’ve heard the jawdropping Danny Brown collab “Attak,” as well as first single “Raptor” and a decent chunk of “Velcro” in an Adidas ad. More recently, the BBC DJ Benji B played the album-ending title track on his radio show, as Pitchfork points out. It’s a relatively sedate track for this guy, a short and nervous ambient piece made up of impressionistic pianos. To listen to it, head over here and skip to about the 59:30 mark.
Green Language is out 8/26 on Warp.
