Just yesterday, Flying Lotus alter ego Captain Murphy released a clip from his Adult Swim cartoon called “The Birth Of Captain Murphy.” And today, FlyLo drops the Captain Murphy track he recorded for the Adult Swim Singles Series, the aptly titled “Cosplay.” All this precedes FlyLo’s forthcoming proper LP, You’re Dead, and it portends greatness, because this is just the guy’s cartoon side project, and this is pretty goddamned great.
