AEG Live: Hyde Park 2013 - Announcement

It’s a social media miracle! Well, kind of. Maybe. See, relations between Jon Bon Jovi and longstanding Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora have been frigid lately, and Sambora hasn’t performed with Bon Jovi for well over a year. But as Billboard points out, while participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, JBJ nominated Sambora along with bandmates David Bryan and Tico Torres. Sambora then recorded his own Ice Bucket Challenge video, but he didn’t mention Bon Jovi. Does that mean they’ve made up, or they haven’t? Watch both videos below and decide for yourself.

While we’re here, might as well watch one of those Ice Bucket fails compilations because why is life worth fighting for if not for this kind of wonderful bullshit?

  1. Ultimately I guess I was happiest that I was blissfully unaware that there was acrimony in BonJoviVille.
Chris ruined that for me. Thanks Chris.

  2. As much as I don’t really care about Bon Jovi, it seems to me like Bon Jovi wouldn’t really be Bon Jovi without Richie Sambora. The guy wrote a shit ton of their most famous songs, not to mention created their sound with his guitar parts, AND sang backup on, like, everything. I’m calling weird on this one.
