The Drums 2014

Earlier this month the Drums previewed snippets of three new songs from Encyclopedia, their first album in four years, in a neat little sampler video. Today they’ve unveiled another such video, and in addition to the promising musical content, there’s some light comedy (dramedy?) featuring Drums members Jacob Graham and Jonathan Pierce. Hear parts of “There Is Nothing Left,” “Face Of God,” and “Break My Heart” — and feel the love — below.

Encyclopedia is out 9/24 on Minor Records. Pre-order it here, and grab tickets for Drums tour dates in North America and Europe here. Speaking of those North American dates:

  1. Just listening to their new “I can’t pretend”. I Love it! These guys are really great, I’m liking them more and more with every release. Can’t wait to see them in salt lake, especially after they cancelled their last show here. Bastards.

  2. The Drums are officially too good to write off. Go listen to Portamento if you haven’t already.
