Jessie Ware’s recent single “Say You Love Me” was bigger and bolder than anything we’d yet heard from her. The new video for that song takes a similar approach with its directness. Ware sits atop a large fake stone on a set, and the camera simply films her in extended takes. There’s nothing else, but you’ll see that there really doesn’t need to be. Ware’s expressiveness is overwhelming, and she reacts to each line as if she were in the middle of a conversation. It’s a stunning performance and you should watch it below.
