Watch Foo Fighters’ Full Show At Chicago’s Cubby Bear, Where Dave Grohl Saw His First Concert

We already posted footage of one big moment from Foo Fighters’ show at Chicago dive bar Cubby Bear, when Dave Grohl welcomed Naked Raygun’s Jeff Pezzati on stage to cover “Surf Combat.” Now footage of the full show has surfaced online, and it reminds me just how many songs this band has lodged in my psyche over the years. The set features several guest appearances by Rick Nielsen, including two Cheap Trick covers and his new Foo collaboration “Something From Nothing.” The “All My Life” –> “I’ll Stick Around” intro is definitely working for me.
