Lollapalooza Announces Berlin Edition

Lollapalooza

Lollapalooza was a touring festival for years, but in 2005, it became an annual multi-day show in Chicago. In recent years, festival organizers have also begun putting on annual shows in Chile and Argentina, and they announced since-abandoned plans for an Israel festival two years ago. Today, festival organizers have announced that they’re opening shop in Germany. The first annual Lollapalooza Berlin will come to come to Tempelhof Airport 9/12-13 of next year. In a press release, festival founder Perry Farrell says, “I’m extremely excited to finally bring Lollapalooza across the pond to Europe. Berlin’s energy, vibrant art, fashion, and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about, and I can’t wait to share in this cultural exchange.”
