The L.A. DIY duo (and Band To Watch) Girlpool released their self-titled debut EP on Bandcamp earlier this year, and we wouldn’t normally post a stream for something that was originally streaming online months ago. But we’re doing it right now anyway, because it rules. Girlpool have made an intense and raw and personal punk rock album, and they’ve done it with sugary harmonies and lyrics about other people being such dicks and a complete lack of drums. It’s accessible, but it doesn’t sound quite like anything else we’ve heard, at least not since Helium were still wrecking shit. We’ve posted the EP track “Blah Blah Blah” and the “Plants And Worms” video, and now, if you’ve got Spotify, you can stream the EP below.
