This new season of Comedy Bang! Bang!, the comedy podcast that became an IFC sketch and variety show, has been awfully heavy on indie rock. The National and Wayne Coyne have both appeared, and now Future Islands are on a sketch. In their appearance, the band shows up on the show’s studio, talking to host Scott Aukerman and bandleader Reggie Watts after their tour bus breaks down. It seems like a contrived setup for them to play a song. It is not. Watch the sketch below.
