The Who Play “A Quick One, While He’s Away” For The First Time In 44 Years

True story: Last summer, at the longstanding Columbus, Ohio community festival known as ComFest, I saw two separate local bands cover the Who’s epic song-suite “A Quick One, While He’s Away,” unbeknownst to each other. It was a crazy coincidence, especially since the actual Who haven’t played it in 44 years. That changed Sunday night at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, where the band performed the nine-minute composition for the first time since 1970.
