Smith Westerns Announce Indefinite Hiatus

Smith Westerns frontman Cullen Omori announced on Twitter last night that his band will be going on an “indefinite hiatus” at the end of the year. The band’s last show will be in their hometown of Chicago, though Omori also hinted at a “NYE surprise for New York.” The band released three albums: their 2009 self-titled, 2011’s Dye It Blonde, and 2013’s Soft Will (which picked up an Album Of The Week honor).
