Prolific Bay Area psych-poppers Sonny & The Sunset released their Antenna To The Afterworld album just last year, but they’re already getting set to return with a new one called Talent Night At The Ashram. They’ve just followed up first single “Cheap Extensions” with a new one called “Happy Carrot Health Food Store.” It’s a stumbling lo-fi jam that somehow lasts seven minutes. And lyrically, it works as a sort of character story about the people you might encounter at the business establishment of the title. Dog noises figure prominently. It’s nuts.
