Darren Partington, a member of the Manchester electronic group 808 State, was sentenced to 18 months in jail for dealing heroin and crack cocaine, according to BBC. The 45-year-old was arrested back in July and admitted to the possession with intent to supply. He said that he owed £300 to his dealer and offered to work it off by dealing himself. 808 State is still active, though their last full-length album was released in 2003.
