Kero Kero Bonito sure seem like big fans of the remix: Last year, they dedicated a whole EP to highlighting other artist’s remixes of tracks from their fantastic self-titled debut, and they pulled out all the stops for their remix of Los Angeles producer Spazzkid’s “Daytime Disco.” (Spazzkid previously worked with vocalist Sarah Bonito on the dreamy “Truly.”) KKB give the track a complete revamp, subbing in their video game-inspired bloops and Sarah’s rushed hybrid English/Japanese vocals, resulting in a delightful take on the song.
