Blis. – “Stationary Life” (Stereogum Premiere)

Last week we heard “Floating Somewhere High And Above,” a promising preview of the new EP from Atlanta rockers Blis. “Stationary Life,” the second single from Starting Fires In My Parents House, is just as electrifying. That Silversun Pickups comparison I lobbed last week still holds here, but this time they come closer to Modest Mouse covering American Football on a runaway train — so not stationary in the slightest. Hear them tear into the track below.

EP tracklist:

01 “Floating Somewhere High And Above”
02 “Savannah”
03 “Stationary Life”
04 “You Can Tell A Lot”

Here’s what Blis. look like, btw:

Starting Fires In My Parents House is out 2/10 on Soft Speak. Pre-order it here.
