You may have missed it amidst the crazy avalanche of great music we’ve been getting lately, but Aphex Twin has a new EP coming out tomorrow! It’s 13 tracks long! I don’t see how that’s not an album! Aphex’s Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments pt2 will collect unreleased tracks from the same era that gave us last year’s blinding comeback album SYRO, and it’s just awesome to have this guy back in our lives. He just shared a new track called “Diskhat ALL Prepared1mixed [snr2mix],” and it’s either the EP’s opening track or another version of that track; it’s always hard to tell with this guy. In Aphex terms, the track is a relatively low-key shuffle. But it still twists and wriggles the way only Aphex’s music can do. Listen below.
