The Southern California-based cassette label Burger Records will host their annual Burger Boogaloo for the sixth year in Oakland, California. The event will take place on 7/4-5 in Mosswood Park and will be hosted by everyone’s favorite weirdo, John Waters. The organizers couldn’t have dreamed up a better host. The initial lineup features bands from the Burger roster as well as tangential affiliates including: the Mummies, the Gories, the Black Lips, King Khan & BBQ, Untamed Youth, the Pandoras, Shannon & the Clams, Sneaky Sneaky Pinks, Fe Fi Fo Fums, Troublemakers, Midnite Snaxxx, Nikki Corvette, Guantanamo Baywatch, Audacity, Bonbom, Gooch Palms, Danny & the Darleans, Legendary Stardust, Cowboy Apache, Dancer, and Vial.
