Being an avid fan of pop culture often comes down to having to choose sides, even if you — if you were to be honest with yourself — love both of the options. You can’t love both Pearl Jam and Nirvana, for instance. Both N’Sync and the BSB. Both Jesse Camp and Dave Holmes. Both Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. Both Marcel and the monkey from Animal Practice. In order to have anything to talk about with your online date or the acquaintance who also accidentally arrived before the good friend who ties you two together shows up, you have to choose a side and fight for it. And that is what I’m asking you to do today. From Us Weekly, via Celebitchy:

Jon Stewart has a lot of fans — but Donald Trump is not one of them. After a bit of back-and-forth between the two, beginning with a tweet from the real estate tycoon and culminating in a joke at his expense [Ed. Note: The joke at his expense is that Trump’s birth name is “Fuckface Von Clownstick.”] [Ed. Note: Hahah.] during the Daily Show on Wednesday, May 1, Trump again took to Twitter to voice his less-than-favorable opinions of the comedian.

“If Jon Stewart is so above it all & legit, why did he change his name from Jonathan Leibowitz? He should be proud of his heritage!” the Celebrity Apprentice boss wrote on Friday, May 3.

“Jon Stewart is a total phony — he should cherish his past — not run from it,” he added. “As I’ve said many times before, Jon Stewart is highly overrated.”

EEK! I KNOW THEY BOTH MAKE SOME GOOD POINTS! I already explained that this wouldn’t be easy. On the one side you have an imbalanced, big-mouthed lunatic who has looong passed the point of relevancy and, holy moly, truly just needs someone to tell him to keep his mouth shut or at least change the password on his Twitter account, and on the other side you have Donald Trump. (LOLOL.) WHOM DO YOU CHOOSE?! Plz vote in our poll, after the jump.
