They’re here, THEY’RE HERE! (Though the Red Bull Award nominees remain unannounced.)
What in hell is Best On-Screen Transformation? I am probably putting way too much thought into this, but I sincerely have no idea what they were going for with that list of nominees. Did I miss a scene in 21 Jump Street where Johnny Depp became a werewolf and ate Jonah Hill? I even thought they might be equating transformation with a change in character, but I’m pretty sure Colin Farrell remained unchanged throughout the duration of Horrible Bosses. I give up, I’m going to take a nap under my desk now.
Swinton and Fassbender have been snubbed again! If they weren’t already busy planning to liberate David from the Gallery of the Accademia di Belle Arti, I am sure they would be most sincerely crushed.
What does this even mean?
“Best Gut-Wrenching Performance
» “Bridesmaids” (Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McClendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper)”
I’m sure it lifts Ryan Gosling’s spirits to have been nominated for Drive. Like I always say, if the Academy snubs you, at least there’s MTV. (I’ve never said that before and never will again.
So, this is a serious question. Does anyone know if there is a DVD “Winner of *so-and-so* MTV Movie Awards* on the cover? I want to know because I want to laugh.
