Who Cares Why Wild Hogs 2 Was Canceled?

Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride, the sequel to Wild Hogs 1: Seriously, America? has been canceled by the Walt Disney Corporation. The full reasons were not explained, although this article at Variety suggests that it might have something to do with the failure of Old Dogs, and/or the arrival of a new studio head who is focusing Disney’s energies on returning the brand to its more consistently family friendly fare. Uh, WHO CARES! Anything written about this story should just have the headline “Wild Hogs 2 Canceled” and then underneath that “Good.” Let’s not bury the lede on this one, Journalism. In some bonus news (bonus news!), Wedding Banned, a comedy starring Robin Williams and Anna Faris about a father who kidnaps his daughter to prevent her from getting married, has also been canceled. Again: no explanation necessary. Sometimes it’s just nice to be happy about something without worrying too much about the whosis and whatses. These guys know what I’m talking about.
