Transformers 2 On-Set Footage Is More Boring Than Watching Computers Dry
Some local news footage from the set of the Transformers sequel hit the internet today. It includes shots of helicopters flying (amazing), a factory (whoa!), and interviews with people who saw the first movie and are still willing to see the second (how did they do that?!):
I was fine with the first Transformers movie up until the robots started talking, and then I was like “check please!” And by the end I was just confused. You have to put the Hellraiser box into the truck’s chest and make her into robot Jesus? But the one thing that I think we can all agree on is that the cool thing about the movie was all the robots fighting. Right? So behind-the-scenes footage should really just be a bank of computer servers processing the CGI that is going to make the movie worth watching.
“It’s Transformers. It’s like, robots and cars, you gotta come see it.” I’m pretty sure that girl is the VP of marketing for Paramount. Because that’s the only way I can think of to explain how she got inside my head and detonated my mind.
