Watch Pussy Riot Act And Perform Le Tigre Collaboration In House Of Cards Season 3

The new season of House Of Cards descended upon us today and, as previously reported, Pussy Riot make an appearance in one of the episodes. Nadezhda “Nadya” Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, the two most public members of the Russian protest group, play themselves as characters who speak out against a fictional Russian president who was modeled closely after Vladmir Putin. The Huffington Post gets into the plot specifics, but I’ll hold off for those of you who haven’t gotten around to seeing the episode yet. It does end with them performing over the closing credits, however — they do a new English-language song called “Don’t Cry Genocide” that they worked on with Le Tigre. (Previously, the two of them teamed up for Vice’s 20th anniversary party.) Tolokonnikova told the New Times that the new song was “devoted to the militarization of society and to American drones in particular.” Watch their performance below.
