Yelle never hit it as big as it seemed like they might at the tail-end of the aughts, but they’ve done alright for themselves. The French pop group put out their third album Complètement Fou last fall, which was popular enough in their home country. One of the tracks on that record is “Moteur Action,” a huge-sounding track that masterful production team SOPHIE and A. G. Cook make even bigger on their new remix. They transform Yelle’s saccharine pop into something borderline threatening, and build it up to a hectic ending that’ll knock your socks off. Listen below.
