Last year, Thee Oh Sees frontman John Dwyer debuted his side project Damaged Bug with Hubba Bubba, a collection of dark, skittering synth freakouts that evoke both the whirring of damaged gadgets and the scattering of frightened insects. We’ve already heard “The Mirror“, the first single from follow-up Cold Hot Plumbs. Now Dwyer has shared the driving uptempo “Jet in Jungle,” which throbs with the energy of Thee Oh Sees, but over a dextrous synth line. Thee Oh Sees will also be releasing a new album next month, entitled Mutilator Defeated At Last. Hear the song below.
