Win Butler did a DJ gig last night under his DJ Windows 98 guise, and in his mix was what appears to be a new Kanye West song. Noisey is calling it “A Long Time” and reports that Butler had a CD-quality recording of the track, but there’s no way of knowing at this point whether it’s part of Kanye’s upcoming Swish or an older track Butler got his hands on. Elongating every syllable, Kanye asks, “You heard about the good news?” over aggressive production that doesn’t seem like BBQ music to me. Hear a minute of the track below.
