There’s rarely a moment to breathe while listening to Detroit’s the Armed’s lawless new album Untitled, which is now streaming in full. (If you are looking for a breather-moment, do that during the first two minutes of interlude-type “Dead Actress.”) We included the release of the first single off Untitled back in April’s The Month In Metal and covered the coinciding video in the same month. With the emotion and anxiety of a hardcore outfit but the riffs of a metal band in songs like “Issachar,” Untitled appeals to metal and hardcore fans alike. But I’ll save them from the title “metalcore” because of its negative connotations. Hear the whole album below.
