Swedish pop maximalists Kate Boy have been trickling songs out since 2013, but they’ve finally announced their debut album via Pitchfork. ONE will be out in November, and they’ve shared a single from the album called “Midnight Sun.” Vocalist Kate Akhurst slices through the mesh of pillowy and rubbery synth-pop, honing in on the way we idealize the future.
