Morrissey just played a massive but uneven show at Madison Square Garden last night, and now his former Smiths bandmate Johnny Marr has shared a new track. “Exit Connection” is the b-side to “Candidate,” which is being released as the final single from last year’s solo outing Playland, and it’s a swaggering britrock song that gets in and out in under three minutes.
