Preview New M.I.A. Music And Visuals
Over the past week, M.I.A. has been sharing new visuals and music on her social media accounts. As Pitchfork points out, it all seems to be tied to some project called “Matahdatha.” Some of the stuff she’s shared so far include a bunch of new press shots and what looks like a video shoot. One of the clips features the “Platforms” demo she shared in May. Last month, she said that she was working on a new mixtape and short film, so this is most likely a part of that.
