Cleveland’s Pleasure Leftists, formed with members from 9 Shocks Terror and Homostupids, make energizing moody punk that’ll hit you right at your core. Following a few EPs, singles, and last year’s supporting tour with Cloud Nothings, the band returns this summer with their upcoming LP The Woods Of Heaven and give us a little taste of the new material with “You You.” Haley Morris is the strong emotional force behind the track. Her vocals are riveting as she croons over gleaming guitar riffs and speedy in-your-face drums. It’s a storm that gently pushes through, but still jolts you in the end. Listen below.
