Cyril Hahn first made his mark with a series of dance and electronic remixes, reworking tracks from artists like Caribou, How To Dress Well, and Jessie Ware, among others. The Swiss-born and Vancouver-based producer will release his EP, Begin, later this month. We’ve already heard him team up with Brooklyn producer Joel Ford for the first single, “Last,” and now he shares his latest collab with New Zealand dream-pop band Yumi Zouma — known for their breakout “The Brae” — along with their former vocalist Madeira. “Same” is a heavenly synth-pop track, delivering airy sweet vocals that float over a chilled dance beat. The lush synths tingle with every ring and echo. It’s Hahn at one of his most mellowed endeavors as he takes you on a trip through the clouds. Listen below.
