Last year, New Orleans sludge-doom monsters Thou released the ferocious, blackhearted album Heathen, and every metalhead I know considers it one of the best albums of last year. This year, they’ve already teamed up with the Body for the collaborative album You, Whom I Have Always Hated. And now they’re staying busy, becoming the latest band to drop a new track as part of this summer’s Adult Swim Singles series. Thou’s contribution is called “Eyehatethou,” and its title pays tribute to New Orleans doom legends Eyehategod. It is an absolute grime-caked hate-bomb of a song, absolutely the heaviest thing you will hear this morning. Check it out below.
