D∆WN is New Orleans’ Dawn Richard — a former member of of Bad Boy reality-TV girl group Danity Kane and of Diddy’s shockingly great new-wavey group Diddy-Dirty Money and a current PETA spokeswoman — has released a slow, sensual R&B song entitled “Roses.” While developing the track, she used Periscope, an online streaming app, to communicate with fans and receive feedback on her lyrics. D∆WN is set to release the final album of her trilogy, Redemptionheart, in early 2016.
