Frog Eyes have shared a second song from their upcoming new album, Pickpocket’s Locket, following lead single “Joe With The Jam.” Carey Mercer’s painterly lyric quality is as intact as ever here, as he navigates between opposite poles on “Two Girls (One For Heaven And The Other For Rome).” The evocative imagery within recalls the Renaissance, but jazzy horns and Mercer’s gently nudging guitar and sing-speaking keeps things modern.
