Boston noise-funk spazzes Guerilla Toss signed with DFA Records last spring, and their first release for their new label is the upcoming three-song EP Flood Dosed. Lead single “Polly’s Crystal” reins in the usual free-for-all chaos to a locked-in, surprisingly danceable kraut-groove accented by synth bleeps and noise blasts — new bassist Phillip Racz and new keys guy Sam Lisabeth definitely make their presences known — but it’s as exuberantly, brazenly alive as ever, and the rest of the EP follows suit. Flood Dosed is out out 9/25 on DFA — you can pre-order it here — and it’ll be followed by a full-length LP in early 2016.
