Last year, the always-busy Chris Farren released a Christmas album called Like A Gift From God Or Whatever featuring guest appearances from his Antarctigo Vespucci other half Jeff Rosenstock, Chumped’s Anika Pyle, Laura Stevenson, Mae Whitman, and many more. For the holiday season this time around, the record is getting a vinyl pressing courtesy of Soft Speak Records, with all the proceeds going to the National Alliance On Mental Illness, and it comes with a new vinyl-exclusive track featuring Into It. Over It. and Pet Symmetry’s Evan Weiss. “Cold Front” is the best kind of holiday track, in that it’s both tied to the season and transcends it altogether, and ends up being about love and loss and the chilly feeling you get just as winter starts to set in.
