Jason Lytle On Grandaddy’s New Album: “I’ve Got One Last Project Up My Sleeve”

Quirky, nature-obsessed sci-fi synth-prog OGs Grandaddy recently alerted the world that they’re working on a new album, their first since 2006’s Just Like the Fambly Cat. Now Lytle tells adventure magazine Stay Wild’s new video podcast Outsiders that the project will be the last under the Grandaddy name, but it will be a good one:

The only reason I’m making another record is because I’m pretty convinced I’ve got a cool thing to offer in the name of Grandaddy. I’ve got one last project up my sleeve.

He also talks about trail running, caring for his aging mother, and his desire to spend more time outdoors. Read/listen here.
