Thus far this year, the Atlanta sing-rapper Rich Homie Quan has given us two mixtapes, If You Ever Think I Will Stop Going In Ask Royal Rich and DTSpacely Made This. Neither one is really up to his previous standards, and he’s also gotten himself into hot water when he rapped about raping somebody on an older leaked track. But this year, he also released “Flex,” the irresistible hit that inadvertently launched the “Hit The Quan” dance craze, so maybe he’s not a lost cause yet. In any case, as Miss Info points out, he just released a new mixtape called Album Before The Album, and its title is a reminder that his career is still so young that he still hasn’t released a proper LP.
