Hear A Dozen Eagles Of Death Metal Covers For Play It Forward Charity Campaign

Following the Paris attacks, Eagles Of Death Metal requested that artists cover their song “I Love You All The Time,” as part of what is now being called the Play It Forward EODM Campaign. For each cover that’s sold, the band will donate 100% of their publishing income to The Sweet Stuff Foundation. A bunch of artists answered their call: Florence + The Machine (with help from the Maccabees), My Morning Jacket, Mini Mansions (they recorded their cover with the Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner, who also guested on their most recent album), Jimmy Eat World, Imagine Dragons, Kings Of Leon, and the previously shared Savages and Dean Ween Group. Today, all of their covers of “I Love You All The Time” are available to purchase and stream. Listen to them all below.

Here’s what Josh Homme had to say about the campaign:

I made a plea to artists and business people alike to come together to use our solidarity as proof that we are stronger together, and that we can make a difference. We are proud to be a little part of such a big group of talent and good will. We can’t thank these artists enough for their donations of talent, love, time, and compassion. Now, the Play It Forward Campaign is in the hands of the fans to help us make a difference, and to help those affected by this tragedy. Please listen, purchase, play, and enjoy – and know that every time you do, you’re doing the sweet stuff that makes that difference.

More artists are expected to cover the song in the coming months.
